Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, president of the Arab Democracy Foundation's (ADF) Board of Trustees, chaired the latter's fourth meeting this morning at the Ritz Carlton Doha Hotel. The discussions dealt with the proposed programs for the upcoming three years and their budgets, as well as ADF's priorities with regards to the developments in the region.
Mr. Mohsen Marzouk, ADF's Secretary-General, presented a detailed report about ADF's 2009-2010 programs.
Before the meeting, Her Highness toured the exhibition organized on the sidelines of the meeting and leaned about its main contents, namely the periodical publications, such as books, annual reports, and surveys. Her Highness also found out about some of the most important training courses and seminars organized by ADF, for instance the seminar about "Forms of Discrimination against Women in the Arab Region", "Resistance and Democracy", "Darfur: Vision and Solutions", and the Doha Freedom and Creativity Festival.
