Conclusion of a Series of Training Sessions on Election Observation

Within the framework of its special program of training observers for the Tunisian Constituent Assembly elections, ADF concluded a series of training courses for more than 200 local observes in Tunis and neighboring cities on 22 October. These courses were supervised by the graduates of the previous training of trainers in election observation organized by the ADF in late July 2011.
This training series was organized in partnership with the Free Citizen Association (L'association du Citoyen Libre) in Menzel Bouzelfa, The Tunisian League for Citizenship (TLC) and Challenge for Democracy and Citizenship. The graduates of the Training of Trainers course coached about 3000 observers, all of which have been accredited by the Higher Independent Commission for Elections.
In partnership with Challenge for Democracy and Citizenship, ADF organized four training courses for a group of young leaders who participated in the awareness-raising campaign for the development of electoral, citizenship and voting culture and education in the first democratic and free elections after the January 14th revolution in Tunisia.
